Ondem MD 4mg Tablet contains Ondansetron, a medicine that belongs to a group called 5-HT3 receptor antagonists. It works by blocking serotonin receptors in the gut and in the vomiting centre of the brain, which stops the nausea and vomiting signal before it starts.

The MD in the name stands for mouth-dissolving. Instead of swallowing the tablet whole, you place it on the tongue and let it break down on its own, which makes it a practical choice for anyone who feels too nauseated to drink water or finds swallowing a regular tablet difficult.
